Re: Perhaps, Annicita,perhaps...

Then again, that's life on Planet Strat, not Planet Earth...

Re: I remember posts about Boo!

As I recall, Boo was a right pretty critter, too!

I love and respect snakes...well I did have python named Boo back in Australia but you may not have read me then before I came to Canada.

brown snakes in Australia have a terrible reputaion but trouble is they have mates and if you kill a mate the other one will come chase you down...you are right leave these beautiful creatures alone.

Yes good thinking don't tread on a snake, unless you are a rabbit the guy's got to eat.

Re: Hi RPresta!

I think Strat's world is pretty nice, too. Unfortunately, if I try to live there too much, someone eventually seems to think I need to be fitted for a white rubber dinner jacket...

Re: Hiya, BC!

I think that's probably true -- and ultimately, fear is a prime motivator for all things bad, in my book.

Re: Aw, Taps...

He was probably thinking the same thing -- just wanted to get the heck out of dodge.

Re: Hey Shelly -- I've seen that one.

That world's biggest rattler thing makes the rounds every few years -- it's something of a hoax -- people hold the snake out with a long pole to make it look bigger. Still -- it's a big rattler, not 10 feet long, maybe 6 -- and you don't want to mess with it.

As to snakes, I do love them. I'm scared spitless of them, but I love them.

Strat's world sounds pretty nice. And so was your post.

live and let live... as the saying goes.  I was always told that animals react out of fear and they are more scared of us, than us of them.  But all that said, I hate snakes.  LOL

What an interesting post.  I wouldn't have gotten out of the car before I got out of the State.

It must be snake day, or something??  lol  I just saw a photo of the "worlds largest ratttle snake" on AOL news.  Some lady had come across it in florida.  It was huge!  I'm sure it was either pregnant, or just had lunch!  I hate snakes.  You know I would be staying far from them!

Good to know you have some common sense about these creatures, Strat.  lol
