I know the feeling Taps, sometimes I tug at a weed and think get a fork, you will feel this tomorrow. Or tug on something like stinging nettles with bare hands before I bother to get some leather gloves. Poor Ribcage I hope he feels better soon.

Re: RPresta
Yes RP. I think the soft sunny days are gone forever. I would imagine you have enough gentle thoughts of your own to keep you happy. Well we all need more I guess.

The sun's ozone layer is different now. And your poem is really like a cloud of thoughts one wants to capture. Lovely.

I first read your ending as 'wildness' instead of wilderness, but it was appropriate, don't you think?

There are days, it seems sometimes
when brilliant sunshine is uncalled for
and the broad blue expanse exhausts;
days dull gray seem better suited
to eyes in need of easy gazing
fog soft edges would be amazing.
See there, CCT, you bring out the alliterative mischief.

At least you seem to be able to write no matter how you feel, and do it well. My writing comes and goes according to how well I am feeling. Both Ribcage and I are down in the back (for different reasons). His is an old back injury that has recurred. Mine is back muscle strain from doing something that needed to be done and he couldn't do it right now. I did it on Saturday and it is finally beginning to get better.
