Beachbelle:  Whew! That's a pretty big job---covering THIS ass.

SizeXtraPoor:  You're exactly right. Just stop clicking.

You shouldn't listen to anyone who needs to fill thier blog with insults, and drama about the blogging network. They have no clue. Stop clicking on these people and you'll be a lot happier. Don't give him another penny.

Ren
Well I got your message. MHW's comments prompted my post. Not content to insult one blogger with whom he had a beef - well heck let's take 'em all out.

I think your disclaimer stands up by the way and you ass is covered.

I write many ways. Silly, funny, sad, enlightening. Poetry, essays, short stories, novels. I can write serious shit that brings tears or funny shit that makes you laugh. I normally just follow my own instincts when choosing a subject. If I find a mag that wants articles about a particular subject, sometimes I'll give it a try. Maybe I know a little about the subject or it catches my fancy. Why not attempt to write a suitable piece for the mag? I believe that even if you don't get the job, you got some much-needed experience. I love writing. It doesn't matter to me what kind of writing it is and I never feel like I'm selling out. I feel that I'm exploring every possible avenue where writing is concerned.

Do you tailor your work for the publisher?

So if you're writing just what you think the publisher wants to read, are you true to yourself?  I mean, when I write, it's pretty bizarre, and I'm not sure who would want to publish it, but I have to write what comes to me naturally.  If I try to write what I think someone wants, it totally sucks.

Just curious if you do that.
