Yes,  of course all of this is true and makes perfect sense,  from the viewpoint of an evil predator.  A predator's view of  "peace" is  for all of their opponents / victims to either be dead,  or enslaved under their dominion.

And,  of course,  such extreme predators would be absolute experts at all types of deception and lying,  to the fine artiistic points you document here.

But there is another major form of Muslim lying called  "kitman",  I seem to recall,  and perhaps you could educate us about that.  Or am I mistaken?

Hi Naut! This is indeed interesting and as I said, it's always good to learn, though I am a little familiar with this. In part, the problem lies (pardon the pun) in being able to tell when one is being truthful or lying.

And to answer your question about the play, Hair, I was in S.F. when it opened there, we all had seen clips of scenes from it, and I "acted" the famous scene of the title song with at least 20 of my cousins. I should blog about the event! :) Great fun! We'd be arrested now! LOL! Saw the film.

Re: TAPS

Yes, TAPS - that is the case for you and me and most of us - but that is definitely not the case for a devout Muslim, who will engage in the amazing flights of sophistry Islam is known for...

Re: segregation

I'm not sure what you're talking about, SHN...

I'm afraid that a lie is a lie and deceit is deceit and murder is murder no matter what fancy names we ascribe to them.

segregation

Thanks Naut for not segregating me/us from understanding the truth.....

Re: Kabu

No, I do not think we "should segregate all muslims from our lives " - I want people to understand Islam, and I want them to understand that a Muslim's words about his faith may not be true at all, at least not according to our notions of veracity. And I want people to finally speak freely about the problem we're facing; but without knowledge it's difficult to speak freely without talking nonsense...

I take it Naut that you think that we should segregate all muslims from our lives because even if they talk peak they speak with forked tongue. Interesting concept.

This gets to the deeper root of Islam, I feel. I never thought about the idea of peace basically being a state of Sharia.
