There seems to be a timetable in people's lives to that whole business of 'getting' certain things - a kind of chronological determinism...But then, some people never get anything anytime, LOL...As far as my jokes are concerned - I'd better not start...🌷☺

I put a pathetic joke in my post just now! Ihated the thought of dying but almost all my long time girlfriends from Australia, died in our 60's Seems like I already outlived too many people.

I can have deep conversations with P.D. and Preacher about death, dying, funeral plans, who gets what when I'm gone, and we can even laugh about it.  But, Ribcage is completely different.  He doesn't ever want anyone he knows or loves to die...ever.  When that happens he is completely torn up inside.  He wants the jokes and laughter all the time.  Your subject line here made me immediately start singing the song.  I can tell it is going to be an earworm all day.

No but I would like to live to 100, it would be nice not to have any enemies . I know that's an old joke, but many a true word is spoken in jest .
