I finally took our old home movies and transferred them to dvd. As for the photos, I've been taking pictures of the ones that I love most (not the best way to scan them, but the fastest). The rest are all stored in a trunk until I can figure out what do to.

For a long time, the same as you! Then I took them and organized them as best I could by dates they were taken and put them in archive safe boxes in order. The old, old ones I have tried to digitize. The digitized ones can be shared by everyone. However, there are thousands altogether...

I kept everything in a box and a few photo albums. Now they are divided up amongst family and I have no idea where or what has become of them all.
