Thanks for bringing this to light, Naut. A lot of people tend to overlook the differences in Islam and lump everyone together when there are different agendas.

Yes,  it is as if we are sheep,  and we are watching two wolf-packs fighting each other,  and the victorious group will be the ones that get to eat us.

But,  we are not sheep,  and we should continue to help whichever group of Muslims is being oppressed and destroyed by the others.  If we are seen as helping the oppressed,  all will see it,  and that will have a positive influence.  After all,  once we get rid of ISIS,  and that will be soon,  Iraq will be more stable,  and we are getting closer to a more stable Afghanistan,  thanks to the new administration,  which will give our military what it needs and not meddle with it.

We are correcting the horrible mistakes of the past 8 years,  when we were lied to and told that Al Queda was destroyed  (NOT),  and ISIS was 'junior league'  (NOT).  When Iran was strengthened greatly,  and the "Arab Spring" faded away into an Arab nightmare through Obama's bungling,  when members or supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood were in the US government,  welcomed by Obama,  a Muslim sympathizer himself.  When Libya was allowed to degenerate into chaos and bloody war between Muslim sects,  and it cost us our Ambassador there and other brave souls,  who did not get the support they needed,  before or during the attack.  It will take a while to clean up the messes of the last 8 years.

Nautikos

They are certainly good at arguing. It's not a pretty picture.

You paint a world as miserable as the one we already face...back to my gardens.
