Singapore wasn't on my visiting list until my daughter moved there

with her husband for his work. I spent a month there, and can recommend some places to visit.  The Singapore Botanical Gardens are fantastic! Sungei Buloh Wetlands Preserve is wild and wonderful! The Jurong Bird Park is lovely if they are into birds, and Sentosa Island has a marvelous aquarium.  But... Mustafa's!  It's a huge department store where in the basement is the most astonishing array of fabrics and saris and sarongs and... oh, just stacks and stacks!  Also, any of the souvenir clothing and items you can pay $30 for at tourist gift shops--Mustafa's is where those shops get them for a lot less! And it is open 24/7!

Afternoon tea at Raffles... There is a guy there whose sole job is to seat you then unfold and place your napkin on your lap.

Brunch with the Orangutans at the Singapore Zoo is a thing, too...

Sounds like great trip! And I too had to look up GoPro, though I've got a reasonably good idea where all those places are - far away! So Bon Voyage to them!

Oh how exciting!  And my son tells me a GoPro is the thing to have.  Especially when traveling.  I just believe him.

This is like a strange language to me. When I was travelling my family had to wait for snail mail ...which in itself was an unheard of term a few years ago.

My grandsons have GoPros and are allowed to use Instagram w/Mom's eye hovering somewhere in the background, though they probably forget about that part. I should really be on it to follow them. Lol! It's great fun that you will have if you follow them on I stagram, like being along on the trip with them..

Well, I found out what GoPro is.  It is a modern technology camera with eponymous action and develops its own mobile apps and video-editing software.  Now I have to look up eponymous again.  I have forgotten what that is.
