I can remember when I would get on a bus and go downtown and stand in line at each place to pay the electric, water and gas bills, go to the bank to deposit my husbands paycheck, and other such things. I miss those simple days.

I love the internet; I control how much, and the degree to which I use it, though often my back does it for me! You can still stop and smell the roses, while making money. LOL. You just have to pace yourself and give yourself permission to enjoy down time, unplugged.

I think you're right - the Internet has increased the 'pace' of life somehow...I find it intrudes, but of course that's my own fault...
