Re: Re: Kabu

I wasn't ever a sweet little Grandmother actually. I'm the one who played with them taught them naughty songs and told them stories, made up stories together...now they are grown up they know without a shadow of doubt that I love them even from over here.

Re:RPresta

Oh! I wish I could have held them, I am sure they never cried or misbehaved. If they were like their Mummy, they would have been rare examples of angelic fortitude.

Re: Kabu

Yes I expect so Kabu , a grandmother  is usually a sweet little lady, I mean they were, now they seem to be too young to be grandmothers, remember I am Uncle Albert and entitled to be respected.

Re: Having spent some time studying and producing babies, I have to

Yes you fail to mention the fun part Pat. Although that is not very funny at times.

May your latent desire be gratified FS. At least you have a house.

Re:Justi

Justi it is a different ball game now , they grow up faster under artificial light and then have to spend lots of time at home because they have not the collateral to put down a deposit on a house.

CC

Yes I miss those days of little ones all around. I would not know what to do with them now. This is a very good post. I think now soon as they go off the bottle you give them a cell phone or laptop and they are set as loners for life. Be blessed.

LOL. Uncle Albert has babies pegged very well...I do still find them to be cute despite all of that.

Having spent some time studying and producing babies, I have to

agree that your findings are on target. Qute often they are inconvenient and messy. But then, so am I...

Actually, I far enjoyed being the Grandmother of babies than all the worry and responsibility of being a Mother.

I like babies as long as I can give them right back to the mother.  lol

CCT

What a fun poem you've written! I've seen little ones babbling like that. So cute. I must say, when I had newborns, I almost cringed at the thought of anyone holding them, though I reluctantly allowed a few, other than very close family. :)
