So wonderful it is to be out in nature and to hear it.

TAPS

Owl hoots fascinate and so does the woodpecker's rat-a-tat. A lovely scenery it makes with its serenity.

Good idea, TAPS. Who wants to be exhausted? A break is fine.

lol... you might enjoy the woodpeckers more!   Good for you for doing what felt best for you.  Saying no is not always easy.   Oh, and that FBI guy?  The news lately is more like a tv drama.... but without the nice neat ending.  I can't even watch it.

I love owls - probably because they've played roles in stories and

they - being nocturnal - seem somehow possessed of wisdom we diurnal creatures are not privy too. It's cool they can fly silently. And when camping out, I've heard some mighty loud and scary calls. Enjoy your me time, there'll be new entertainment tomorrow.

I'll share with you I sat on the concrete edge of a rose garden in the park where there's a bus stop, waiting for the bus. I turned my head around. There was a very long golden cat, lying, licking itself. I stood up and waited at the curb. It didn't seem aggressive.
