Charlie and I drove the paved road there--the Million Dollar Highway--at night a few years ago, and it was good luck to be behind a semi going slow! it was scary!

The Million Dollar Highway was named that when it was learned that it had accidently been paved with gold-bearing gravel.

It's beautiful, but I would have to walk. That's an "E ticket" ride for me! My goodness...it's very steep!

Oh, I would love that! But I'd have to get myself a Jeep first - and for around here I like things more comfortable...
