There will be a few more photos coming, too. I look forward to getting some good ones of the sparrows now, too, though I won't be able to see into that nest.

Do you ever set up a sprinkler for watering your gardens? When we had dry, dry summers back in the Pacific NW, when I went out watering the yard, the little birds would fly through the showers! 

Embers did indeed take note today, and the bird noticed her, as well! Well, now they've flown, maybe we can have the deck back for our own uses!

Yes, and in only two weeks since hatching! Like watching a garden sprout and bud and bloom!

It would be great if they cleaned house, but I doubt they will. It will be me scraping guano off every surface they occupied!

This is so much fun to follow.  You are doing such a good job of both taking care of the birds and taking photos for people to see.

Now the real world beckons. The black birds are so frantic here because it has been dry they follow us around when weeding to get the small insects that are disturbed. Your cat looks like it might like to investigate.

I just love your bird nests and betcha them parents are waiting for the fledglings to leave before cleaning house and starting again.
