I have a neighbor who wouldn't stop digging tree roots out of my front yard. He had to be shown a plat map and be told to lay off, politely. I had had a series of odd neighbors since I stopped living at my parents' home. Neighbor karma is something I must work on... lol.

Which also made me think about a few things.
I never saw "Ove" yet, but I've been thinking about it a few times. Maybe even read the book.
Well, I have a streaming Netflix. You know the kind of "pay your membership and stream as much movies you'd like to".
What I think about the neighbors is actually hard to say, because I almost (just like you) only know my neighbors by their face and the "Hello"s between us when we meet at the street.
In my situation it's not caused by social media. I just don't hang out with my neighbors.

Well I know neighbors can be a pain to some if they are over-friendly, but the trend does seem to pleasant and not to mess on each others doorstep.

We have streaming Netflix and for a few small dollars a month we watch heaps of movies and series. The series are dreadful fun because we watch till we drip. LOl Old people loving to think that they are being bad.
I don't believe in bugging neighbors. I am there if they want me and they are there if we want them. Home is a place to be oneself, s'pecially with Wiley in and out of the bathroom or us both taking a nap.
