I'm no cat lover but I did enjoy the catty girl with torn jeans, cleaning her green knees before celebrating her B'day.

Re: Naut

I think I would have thrown my trousers away Naut. I hope I did not give the impression or do give the impression that I am or have had such steamy encounters. Yes I know cats are like a good many humans .

Re:RPRESTA

Hi RP not it is not my birthday .People are funny, I always take flower plants and pears etc. to the guy in the poem's sister. She thinks I am a kind person, but I only do it in memory of her Brother, who used to help and confide in me. I know he would only laugh at his related conqests. Thank you.

Re:Ciel

Well I am certainly not going to critisize anyone who does a kindness to animals.

Perhaps my motive is a bit obscure I feed the cat to stop it chasing the birds. It is a source of amusement to my brother, watching the critter following me around.

Re: Sam

I know a man who put an electric wire round his gatepost. The first dog to try to christen it was knocked into a coma. So he thought he had better remove the wire. What about pepper Sam.

I thoroughly enjoyed the poem! I wish people who walk their dogs in my neighborhood would carry bags so I wouldn't have to clean up after their animals in my yard! sam

I won't argue about cats...

I have my own ideas about that.  But they do get accustomed to a person and seem to have expectations of that particular warm spot/meal provider/occasional playmate.

Great poem
I almost heard it as one of those Irish Folk songs.
And about the cats, I would put it this way: I do like cats, but I also know that they don't LOVE me. Afterall, we're just servants to them. 😃

C_C_T

Well, if it's your birthday, Happy Birthday! I do like cats, though I've never thought about whether or not they are capable of love. As for the poem, quite an entertaining story there, and what a birthday that must have been!

CCT

Cats may not be capable of love, but they can sometimes be favorably inclined towards us...And I love your encounter with that steam-cleaning lass! Don't disappoint her - visit her on your birthday, even if you do have another assignation in the meadows...
