There has been a lot of talk about Churchill lately.  Probably because he was an interesting man.

In America, there seems to be a conflict of confidence and non-confidence. That is really one of the things fueling the divisive political climate we find ourselves in. Hopefully, America can regain its confidence.

The quest for power, be it through religion or otherwise, seems to be the the popular trend of present day.It was always there, I suppose, but less evident, maybe because Christian values held it in check?

reference to Churchhill reminds me of the Netflix series The Queen.  I found it riveting.  So good and like watching an entertaining history lesson.
