Re: Re: ginnieb

I'm in SoCal, not too far from Ol' Laguna... Spiders still show their faces inside occasionally.

Re:

Oh I'm sure adnohr!  Do you ever get used to them?  My son tree planted one year and said that he thought he was losing his mind with all the buzzing and biting.  Eeek.

Re:

Eek I hope not TAPS!  I am petrified of centipedes and millipedes.  When we lived on an island I was so afraid of millipedes jumping out at me when I was hiking.  I still hiked so I guess I wasn't 'that' afraid!

Re:

So a happy ending to the spiders eh RPresta!  Where are you in the world?  I'm not really afraid of spiders, just rather they are outside in their webs where they belong!

Living in the bush I deal with all sorts of bugs. For the past years we have been infested with Asian beetles, pesky things!

I hope not too many spiders spring back to life.  I know they eat mosquitos and house flies but I just don't like spiders.

It will be lovely come late spring and summer. I can certainly understand the not liking bugs aspect. Last year when we bought this place, it was infested with spiders. They were nesting everywhere, including under the carpeting thoughout the house. We removed the carpeting after escrow closed and found beautiful wood floors. But we still need a regular exterminator.

Re: Re: Kabu

well there are plenty of bugs in Australia of course and of course flies but no huge bomber sized mossies, no black flies, no no-see-ems or deer flies. My biggest worrier to me here though is the mosquito.

Re:

I guess we should expect that with Spring right?  April rains bring May flowers!

It reads like an idyllic summer to come. good luck with the renovations and restoration. When I came here to the Ottawa valley we had to build a little screen Porch on our front deck because I just couldn't cope with the mosquitoes and other bugs. yes BUGS!!!!ugh! I understand.
