What wonderful photos. I love the countryside. How fun it must be driving on the country roads.

beautiful scenery. I can see why you love going there so much besides visiting your family

Re: Kabu,
I'm so pleased you enjoyed touring Lancashire with me! It is an early spring there this year.
I don't know, but maybe I can find out why it's Bedlam Lane.
There is a wild daff that used to grow all over, like the bluebells that will be blooming in the woods like blue carpets in a couple of months. These daffs we were told are not those, but were deliberately planted here and there, especially on corners and alongside houses and hedges. The wild ones are smaller and more dainty than cultivated ones.

I felt that ache inside me as I browsed back and forth. Bedlam lane...wonder if it had once led to an asylum for the insane as they used to call such institutions. Oh and the daffodils just growing beside the lane. And the gnarled trees and fabulous scenery and it so early still for Lancashire. Thank you. You have given me so much today.
