Do-it-yourself projects can be quite the adventure...I myself tend to avoid them, paying someone else to do them.

Loved this piece becaue it reminded me of when I was a kid. My grand-uncle would tackle electrical work in our house, whether it needed to be done or not, much to my mother's chagrin (not to mention my dad's). She'd be washing clothes and suddenly Uncle Vincenzo would turn off the electricity... Oh, yeahhh!
