Re: SAm

Thank SAM.yes the sun is shining and I must tell you my cousin moved to be near his daughter. First a lot of the tiles blew off the cottage. The fence fell down and a big tree is lurking much too near. One can't just chop trees down there ,one has to get some stupid permission..

Re: Ciel

You will be quoting Wordsworth next Ciel. I think I might re-read your book to get to feel like the frogs.

It's coming up on spring, no point to getting ill. Daffs are raising their heads, opening towards the sometimes sun, frogs are frolicking in the little pond, wearing duckweed at a rakish angle... Forsythia down the road is suddenly bright yellow even in the grey and misty day...

I especially like the first line of your poem: The yellow rose that lit the wall that summer...

Sorry to hear you are under the weather. You must rest until you feel better. Your poem had a touch of the magical in it.

It's the time of year to be weary. Get a nap before spring gardening

and the eternal planting-weeding-harvesting...
