I know that this is painful, but these words outline my feelings also. I have endured the loss of my mom and brother. This is a great write. Sorry for your loss

I think one has to try as hard as seems to realize one feels sorry for oneself. Well I tried to think like that and of course your dad would not wish you to ache, how far worse for him if he was grieving for you.

My condolences on your loss! I lost my sister and mother within 3 months two years ago and it's never easy! sam

I feel your pain. I lost my dad years ago and yes, there is a hole there, but fortunately he left so many good memories, that they remain also. Peace.

i am sorry. My parents died more than 20 years ago but I always miss them, every day. It is OK of course, life has gone on but your poem is so true about the feelings.
