my most beloved Granddaughter has Asthma and has come close to dying several times. One time her Daddy broke down on the phone telling me but I wasn't allowed to fly back. The Dr. felt if I turned up she would think she was going to die and give up. My heart goes out to you My Sam I am. So relieved that you are fixing your medication problem dear one. i get hayfever...which is more a misery than  anything but I find that Avon perfumes will set me off and put me to bed with a toel between my legs straight away. ( I pee myself with every sneeze.)

I myself do not have asthma but knowing someone who does (my sister), I see how scary it is.

I didn't know you have asthma, or if I did, I had forgotten.  I'm glad you are going to get the rescue inhaler.  Asthma is nothing to be blasé about.  One never knows when it will hit hard.

one of my oldest friends has asthma, and the new meds have made her nearly never need her inhaler anymore.  But I recall her fear whenever she didn't have it with her.  Not being able to breathe is no joke.

Wonderful you were able to get home and have a nebulizer there. Yes, should always carry an emergency one because you just never know. BTW did you find the chair cushion yet?

Sam

Yikes is right! What a horrible experience. And I know how important breathing is - I remember the time I couldn't breathe when I drowned! Well, I didn't drown completely, otherwise I wouldn't tell you about it, but I thought I had drowned. Hell, that ain't right either - I no longer thought anything, but you know what I mean...
