Good advice to give your grandson. It doesn't matter who has the influence as long as it is good. You definitely are a postive and wonderful influence for him

I'm sorry about the inability to 'touch' the family. It hurts and I am well aware of that pain. I intend to be a 'force' in his life as long as possible.

Two reasons I haven't gone back to Australia dince 2015. The Grandchildren are all growing up. Three of the five are at University arounfd the State, one at school I am still so close to the other never want s to see me. The parents are really busy, starting to rediscover their own lives and My Sister ...Sigh! My most loved friends died of cancer years ago. That long trip with Wiley unwell, it doesn't appeal as much as it did.
You do have years with Johnny and it may be a big reason that you are still here.
