The song of getting up in the morning... Until joints and muscles get a bit of stretch and remember their proper jobs... Aging is not for the frail of spirit...

Re: Sam
Yes I can still feel your agony Sam when you used to be crippled with pains in the head. A good job we don't feel it all the time.

A very good description of pain. I've had a few pains in my life, and I've worked (as a nurse) with people in pain. I'm always very thankful for the times that I am pain free.

I never quite knew what lumbago is - I'm thinking it is what they call
lower back pain. Our financial world would collapse if people could just go a week with no aches or pains or noxious fumes escaping.

Quite a good poem, inho. You've captured the essence of pain so well, I think. Lumbago...what is lumbago? I suppose I should look it up... LOL!

For me, I used to wonder how people who had depression could be affected so. Then I got it and realized why.
I have known of very few people who are content.

I have aches and pains but when I have nursed people who were really ill and now helping Wiley, well I have not one thing to complain of.
