It looks like you can see the light at the end of the wintry tunnel...Our snow draught continues in Maryland. We might get a flurry tomorrow, but that as been it, flurries.

Sam

Yesterday I was thinking about planting things - we had 68 in the shade. This morning it was 21, and I'm thinking of making an igloo...

brrrr so cold up here today My Sam I am. it is minus 15 F. and the wind goes straight up the back of y' pants if ya silly enough to be out in it. I 'm not out in it.

We have had heaps of snow melting but then last night we added about 6" more before it got too cold so Summer and garden is a long way off here. I have planted many bulbs and perennials, flowering bushes and then I fill hanging pots of colorful annuals around. Looks kinda pretty. My bones are getting old for too much gardening. I love it but I spend a bit of time working and lots of time sitting.

I love a vegetable garden; it will grow here but the rabbits, birds and other creatures think it's a smörgåsbord. Love a flower garden, too.
