I believe they do not want to get involved because of the backlash they might get from those who might say they are picking on ISIS or Muslims! Not sure, just a thought! sam

I think that the Western Left, which most of the mainstream media is a part of, is married right now to Islam. Muslims support those left-leaning people and their entities. It is all about winning, and right now, Muslims are major support for them.

Violence, pulling a gun as the first response to a challenge,
has been programmed into world cultures by movies, "reality" programming, etc. for a good century now. It's not thought-out, but is an instinctive response to opposition. Incorporated into religious practices, it leads to a jihadist attitude among extremists of all stripes, no matter what name they give their diety.
