Re: sam sis

Since the last few days, I believe, I must have been taxing my readers' brains, I thought of this one which was, as Presta says, a slice-of-my-life experiences.

Great story with a worthy message,  and well-told.  An unexpected treat tonight.

What a fine memory! I like how you presented it to your father and how he reinforced that it was yours! Your Sis

Re: C C T

My father was strict while at the same time quite adorable. His elder brother, a professor, was an eminent scholar of Literaure, Philosophy and spiritualism, greatly revered by all his students and colleagues. I suppose I am following his footsteps. He was stricy to the extent unspararing about correctness, and my mentor too, whom I fondly remember now.

Very emotional Sir. I can see that you were brought up to see the real value of a gift . Your father was strict but forgiving, not a culture many experience today. a pity more are not like him here.

Re: Kabu

As it brought tears also to my eyes. While writing the reminiscence, it was as if I was transported to those (unforgettable) good old days. You are of a very sensitive and kind lady st heart.

Yes, such experiences are relatable to almost all, one time or another. Thanks so much, FSI.

Re: Aba

I was in a happy mood, no college, no burden, as it is a holiday today for Shvaratri. It is believed that if you are out in the open the whole night, the skies rain benevolent energies, which is extremely beneficial and good for overall health. That you liked my writing so much is an addition to that energy reserve. Thank you so much my dearest Presta.

Aba

OMG, what a delightful, uplifting, wonderfully written slice-of-life tale you tell for us! Thank you, dear Aba! I could picture the entire incident! You have quite the knack for story-telling. I loved reading it. Just a great read here! There is a pen collector in my family also. They do enjoy it.
