They are out there again today and I'm not paying them any attention at all.  All I want is for them to finish and go away.  They are noisier than they were yesterday.

No digging here in Canada...as you know we only have two seasons up here. Winter and construction! perhaps it is pipes that need to be renewed.

Keep seeing photos of sink holes due to all the rain in California

and other places - roads giving away, etc.  Kinda cool that Kansas has to dig theirs...

There has been digging and jack-hammering ongoing almost in the backyard (the street behind it) since last Spring (!) because of a conversion of piping and timers to enable the use of recycled water for watering green areas. Then they decided to replace the street lights.

There has been a lot of roadwork as of late near my house. They have been very quiet, thankfully.
