Loved the post. I forgave myself a long time ago for being me and have enjoyed so much travel. Now I am content at home with my two boys... if a grandchild or two could pop in sometimes life would be perfect...but nothing is perfect.

I myself have never been skiing. When I was little, my family took a vacation to Deep Creek, Maryland. There was a skiing class, but it was more a daycare, so all we did really was wear skis.

Great post! I have a bucket list of sorts ready for the days

when I can walk and breathe at the same time again, lol. After my transplant, of course. And trying out skiing is on the list. We also have a ski resort in my area but I want to go to Colorado or maybe Utah or California or all three!

Yes I regret I did not go on a world cruise, but I think I would find all those bikini clad women boring now. Arthur my brother was many years younger and did most things but he does not seem happier for doing the rounds.

I also have never gone skiing but dr told me I had to be cautious once I had my hip fused to my hip....best not to risk another surgery with long recovery time with at least 2 casts!

The ski resort sounds like a lovely place. St. Louis has one, too,

but it was built after my chicks had flown the nest.
