Re: I like chocolate coated raisins. Also the "yogurt" ones that are coated

You must feel better Pat , Don't eat too many at once, I always read the warning on the pack and then double it.

I like chocolate coated raisins. Also the "yogurt" ones that are coated

in vanilla icing. But don't tell the kiddies this is good for them...

they'll never touch 'em.

Re: CCT

Very nice Naut. I shall have to wait until my strawberries come in, we have two or three

freezer drawers of strawberries and we ought to start on those first.

Re: Kabu

Well of course, but if you were like me you would have several boxes of chocolates and tins of sweet biscuits sitting unopened . I bought them and then when I had the flue or whatever at Christmas, I did not like to give them away as presents. Arthur kept on about germs spraying the door handles and taps and moaning. He did not think about the fact that he had the bug first. So I just bunged the would be presents into a cupboard and bought fresh stock. If you were next door you would be lucky, but I would have to spray you first.

Re:

Hi Taps what about diabetic chocolate, health stores stock it. I might try it myself if I think about it. Yes I think I can remember that chocolate perhaps some beans are too expensive for the humble bar.

Sounds tasty with the chocolate. I use blueberries, coconut, and pour cream and chocolate syrup (Lite) on them sometimes. Or mix Craisins, coconut, walnuts, and dark chocolate. I love the poem, too.

Poem sweet but sad. We have the Glosette chocolate covered raisins, and I like them. Maybe too much.

There used to be a little square candy bar that one could buy here (haven't seen it in years and can't remember its name) that was formed of raisins and nut bits in good bittersweet chocolate.  I really liked them.  I wonder if there is a way to use the chocolate powder to make something like that without added sugar.  The raisins are sweet enough for me.

nice but we are sworn off too much sweet stuff after a long Christmas that is just ended. Too many chocolates and licorice and butter biscuits. I just made a cake though.

CCT

Your chocolate treat sounds nice! I have another one for you, one I made recently: Take a bunch of strawberries, halved, and grate a chunk of chocolate of your choice (I prefer dark) over them. Sometimes I add a bit of cream...
