Re: Yes, many people do ask..... as you say.....

I am in perfect agreement with your observation, GoldenMean. My way of presenting God as faceless are meant for those who are atheists, nothing but dry scientific explanations would probably make them understand. That the world or the universe cannot move without an all-powerful Energy is undeniable. Let that be another name for God for them.There are various mentalities in this world, so it is for them to choose the best option for themselves in accordance with humour, temperament, if you like. My next post is on this very theme where god does have a 'face', as a child, beloved, mother, etc. Yes, justice and perfect balance, quiescent, too, is attainable. Nothing can remain taut for ever. The same rule applies also to injustice. Thank you so much.

Yes, many people do ask..... as you say.....

..... why is God only a silent witness to man’s sufferings?

This pressing question is a huge source of discontent and despair in the world,  with many people turning away from God and religion.  Your answer is large and cosmic,  and reduces God to faceless energy.  I have seen similar answers elsewhere.

But the suffering and injustice is so intense and widespread,  it needs a more detailed answer,  which I am working on.  God is not reallly silent,  he has spoken through many people and scriptures.  God speaks through the dynamic forces of nature.  And he/she/it is supremely intelligent,  so must have a "face" or person-ality of some kind.  We just cannot discern it in this world,  except as if through a dense fog.

As for rebirth,  yes,  I can see the logic of it.  But as a vehicle for justice,  it is not working out very well.  In fact,  it sucks!!!  We should be able to do better.

Aba

I find it extremely interesting how the religious thoughts merge with scientific thoughts. The number 3 appears often, it seems. That man is 'compound of animality, humanity and divinity' presents humans as a Trinity of sorts, in and of themselves. Even during the course of one's lifetime, one appears to have many incarnations as one changes, learning and growing through formal education, life's lessons and Time, itself. Though we are the same person, we evolve and in a sense, are seemingly reborn into hopefully, better versions of ourselves. A wonderful post, so full of information and brain candy. Thank you, dear Aba!

I suppose Faith is a two edged sword. It can promote one into being a better person.

Or it can if it has been presented unwisely destroy the soul of its being. A good blog though. You cannot write like this in ten minutes;;;;;;;;;;

Re: hi sis sam

Jesus, I believe,  was perfectly aware of reincarnation. I don't remember the Biblical quote where Jesus says to the Jews that their father Abraham had  rejoiced upon seeing Jesus. The Jews disbelieved saying you are not even fifty and you saw Abraham? Said Jesus, 'Truly truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am'. They picked up stones and threw at Jesus. Note 'I am' even before Abraham was born. Very suggestive, don't you think? Anyway my purpose was not to convince but how close the explanations match with science, there are now innumerable proofs, though researches; though they may be difficult on the understanding. . . Suppose from a point in a circle two objects start moving in opposite directions and upon traversing the circumference, they meet at a point. Who is going forward and who is going backward, it'll be difficult to tell. Many thanks for a close read.  The universe is circular.

Re: Kabu

Thank you so much for your continued reading and for your valuable comments. As they say Faith is a faculty higher than Reason.

I can't really say I am it's forward or backward because it seems one would need to be cognizant of a rebirth, but that's practically impossible! Only can one whether it is forward or backward is to discern where the origin is, or was. This is fascinating! Your Sis, Shelly

i don't believe I am coming back. As a Christian I have faith that I go onto something else. God is the center of everything, I agree with that. Creator of  ever changing Universes. All of nature, all of science, and I am part of what God has created and will remain always part of everything.
