Nautikos

I had read of this study and followed it with interest, maybe because identicals run in my family. LOL!

I never thought about the idea of using twins to see the different effects of being in our natural planet or earth vs. outers space...Over time, we can hopefully get more twin samples to give us a really great idea...I do believe that at some point, colonizing places in outer space will happen.

Quite interesting Naut . Really our knowledge of the body in space is at the embryo  stage. Perhaps it would be simpler to send robots with near human intelligence to pave the way. They could open the way for humans to adapt. Not much use trying to live in a tent. Actually i think the best step would be to try to find a planet with a more friendly environment if one exists as a possibility. .

I have been interested to learn of the findings with the twins and I really do believe that your last paragraph observations could very well be exactly what will happen.

After all, as people moved across the earth and mingled with different tribes in different climate areas how alike but different we all are. I know that I could not live in the Andes high areas because my blood would prove to be too thin whereas if I mated with someone from there, my children could very easily adapt. well that is pretty hypothetical I know and actually at my age impossible. LOL

Fascinating. Thanks for posting this one... I wonder if there are DNA effects from being on Blogit... Probably some factor that makes the fanny expand, if nothing else.
