तो आप समझती हैं की मेरी सौबत असरदार है, सरदर्द नहीं? just joking, was trying some pun, ha ha. Of course most beautifully said, समंदर, to merge with the whole in equanimity.

Re: Re: Shamaji
समन्दर दो शब्दों से बना है.... सम यानि एक और अंदर यानि भीतर, तो किसी से मिल कर एक हो जाना ही सार है
देख लीजे ज़नाब आप की सौबत में मैं भी दूर निकल आई....

Re: Shamaji

You have such distilled understanding. Tanslated it means the untimate goal of all human beings is that 'the drop become the ocean'. very well said, indeed!

Kabu

You find your empty mind is filled with amazing peace when you acquire to egolessness. When one is in greatly-involved joy, time-consciousness just vanishes; you lose your outer and enter the inner space. Like when one is asleep, time ceases to exist; he /she does'nt know whether one is a he or she, pauper or king, happy or unhappy; duality vanishing you become one with the supreme. This experience is so very satisfying and rejuvenating that it amazes. It is this joining with the higher is called yoga. The priests have an investment in not letting richness engulf you, otherwise who wil go to them, to the churches, pay titches etc., says Dryden " which the Hebrew priests the more unkindly took/ Because the fleece accompanies the flock".

Re: C C T

The Bhagavad Gita in this sense is unique, CCT. It is a synthesis of all that could be found of the human thought; what to do when man gets into a quagmire. And the solutions are so practical if only were to align oneself with the cosmic laws that don't change over time. It did take me years to get to this understanding and the beauty is that everytime one reads there are fresh new meanings and applications that keep getting wider and wider. Thank you so very much for your appreciating and your close reading.

आनंद ले रही हूं आप की इस बेहतरीन कोशिश का....

Years ago in the last Church that I was a member there was so much rubbish preached. Such as all forms of Yoga being evil. That to empty the mind of self was to let the devil in! Sigh. In a nut shell, I find that with meditation and TRYING (it is very hard for me) to let go of my ego that when it does happen, I let my God in. The peace is amazing.

Strange really most could not tackle this work but it does not just make statement it provides answers. I would imagine it stretches your mind  into depths that many would not be willing to delve.

Re: Aba

Such copious compliments! Am I good enough to take them? Yes, I supose so because you give them. A mere thank you would not suffice. It is a monumental task in one sense and takes quite some contemplation to find that are exact translations and befitting too. I try my best to be as honest to Sanskrit as in their connotative meanings in English. It simultaneously educates me too. Selfless works, is unparalleled in its quality, the highest exemplary form is that of a mother taking care of her child. She never feels she has done enough, never tires because she is working in total forgetfulness of her self, time-consciousness too vanishes. You have understood the essence so well, evident from your wise comment. Thanks my dearest Presta.

It is so true that we have to recoginze what ever it is that brings us to a given reality! And then the work begins... Shelly

Aba

So very excellent, dear Aba! I am lacking in words. I have heard  parts of this concept told in its rudimentary form. How easily some of us forget to leave our egos at the door! But you have told this so well; thank you. A monumental task, and I appreciate you taking it on and conveying to us the complexities involved. Yes, now Arjuna can rise from his abyss to journey on to his higher self's potential, without his ego, removing the "I" from motivating his actions, thus moving toward, dare I say - Absolute Peace? Bravo! Bravo! Perhaps this is the lesson for all, in one form or another. Looking forward to more. And, I will re-read all your posts in this series, I am sure. Again, thank you.
