well my darling friends who have posted here for Big V....you give me the "Trots' which is a nice way od saying the S%&#s. Not one of you said don't go. Big V. you admit that using blogit to get the first deaft down is excellent ...well if you have been given this second chance as a reason to write, leaving Blogit makes no sense to me.
I get very close to people I read every day and that has nothing to do with wanting personal relationships. The beauty of blogit is the wonderful friendship that revolves around writing and reading and being here for each other. For me blogit is a way that I can communicate without the small talk and irritations of going out and away from my home. One eats meat here....does that make sense? it is also a peek into the windows of the lives of folks we will never meet in person, would never know at all without modern technology, it is also a place to read some great works, some fun works. and to learn about how people think and to have respect. Do I agree with everything that I read? No I don't always and I am still working on accepting people's views and where they sit with their thinking. Blogit I personally know is where I keep learning to be a better human being.
It comforts me that you are not leaving because of health reasons and of course I respect your privacy so like everyone else I will wish you well in your future endeavors and enjoy those lovely Grandsons.

Well Buddy I came to like you late in Blogit ,but I guess one just follows a pattern and then when I read that you had lost your wife, I felt sorry that I had not tried to console you in any way. Blogit is very time consuming if one wants to play it daily. Evidently you have found the joy of writing especially for the public particularly soothing. Of course trying to sell books on blogit is like selling apples in an orchard especially if you are giving them away before hand. The good thing is you can always come back if only for a day we don't here hold a grudge here. I would leave tomorrow but I am in love with all the ladies. I'll hide this so no one will read this far down. Now get on your horse I'll think of you as the last cowboy.

I can identify with much of what you have posted here today. There is so much to say, and there are so few words I have available. 'Thank you' is the best I can do right now.

I have enjoyed each of your stories. Many of them very thought provoking. I think you have done something with your life even since that stint in the hospital. You make time for your family, friends and your passion - writing. Our goal in life is to always make a difference. I think if you were to have Clarence grant you the wish of never being born to see how many lives you have affected will astound you. Sometimes it is something you think is so insignificant but life changing for the recipient. Don't sell yourself short. You make a difference in all the lives around you. You will be missed. I need not understand or know your reasoning. Sometimes it's just that gnawing feeling...time to move on to better or different things. A new chapter in your life begins. I wish you the best and maybe one day you will be back with us again.
