Thanks RPresta. They won't do that, this is part of her recovery from the operation so is NHS and not charged for. The permanent placement will be self-funded and we are having to sell her home. I'll be writing about this whole process at some point - a kind of user-guide! .. smile.

tell those humbugs to just get out, that the next letter will be from a lawyer. They are incredible. Their problems are not yours. You have enough to organize.

Oh, I hope it all goes well for you and mum. My poor mom WAS evicted from a nursing home once - the insurance ran out. It was awful. Then she came back home.
