I tend to agree with Kabu. After the mental stress of writing Amanda Dawn, it might be healthier to write a "feel good" story.

Re:

Thanks! The folks here at Blog It are my test audience and I love the input I get.. Several of the stories I've written here first were changed due to comments or observations by members of this little 'book club.' I enjoy that feed back more than you know. Check out the post I am about to make in my normal blog about my writing habits.

Honestly I would rather buy ,well I don't mind horrible if it is fantasy. Swords and spells.

I don't like modern books involving cruelty or sadism. You have a following so I suppose you make your own destiny. There is a lot of poor stuff out there, you seem to get it right. Of course some of we uns on Blogit are not big buyers of books especially if we read it for free first.

I am believing that the feel good story will give you a rest after such a harrowing story you have just finished. The serial killer will keep at you until you write it I am sure so it will get written after the easier read.

As for language, I myself don't like filth but toned down a bit has to be inserted at times because the characters won't read true otherwise.
