Nautikos

I love hummus also! Can eat it straight. There have been several recalls here of the ready-made stuff so your recipe comes at a good time. I have seen it with pine nuts - after it's made they are added, and have seen it with roasted red peppers, again, after it's made, they are mixed in. Thank you.

Oh, it sounds heavenly, I love hummus... And recently learned

from one of those scientific latest rad health fad docs on PBS that it's exquisitely healthy on several levels.

I love that stuff.  Last time I made it from the dried chickpeas cooking them first.  The finished product tasted wonderful, but  it made me have gas pains.  Is there some trick to doing it without all the gas.  I still have half of the dried chickpeas and I'm afraid to use them.
