I apologize to those who REJECT any & every same-sex marriages: pic is that

- but the blend of Cherokee and Hindu wedding traditions yielded a great pciture (Again, I celebrate Christ and the Coommandments God gave us in Bible - Old and New Testament. I do not celebrate anything that violates God's Laws & Way). amen

Re: Uku

Much appreciated RPresta: for many born-again Pastors, this message of Jesus as the Bridegroom, is very common knowledge. But men in general need more convincing they are part of the BRIDE (section, with the Church, LOL!) Shalom Shalom and do enjoy this LORD'S DAY with thankfulness for a wonderful Savior, Mighty Prince, the Givernment rests on His shoulders (Isaiah 7:14). amen

You got it exactly right, Sir FORMER STUDENT INTERN: it is really about the end time, the very end of the Jesus Love affair, His Story in Creation & Redemption. Thanks much, Shalom Shalom!

Re:

Wow, Sam, that brings it home. Thanks for that encoraging comment - after all the sermons, gosple music, Faith ... we have to ask, "So what, for me." With CHRIST, he wants us to feel that He loves us individually. (Together but one-on-one: What a Savior!) amen and shalom

Ancient weddings, Chatan & Kallah, are metaphors for Jesus & Church: He's

"preparing a place for us" as He said in John 14, and will return, "So that where I am, you also shall be." The chapter begins, "Let not your heart be troibled ... you believe in the Father, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions."

Orthodox Jewish and Indian customs from engagement to wedding (up to a year, even 2 years) has much to parallel Jesus' metaphors. Thanks Readers; shalom!

a wonderful story in poetry. Thank you. One wonders how much is myth how much is what really happened and must also ponder on what we can learn for our own lives.
