No tree? Well at least there were the sweets and snacks. Dads are so great at decorating during Christmas ! Mine was the same and he always made sure he had a hand in decorating the Christmas tree as well.

Naut

Thank you. Once you start decorating Naut, it would change spring to Chrismassy.

Shobana

Beautiful, but it doesn't feel very Christmassy here - it's more like early spring...

Lovely Xmas poem. But we got shoes, a suit of clothes at Christmas, NO TREE!

What I recall was the sharing of home-made sweets and snacks, or soft-drinks with passers by, ones that merely said Merry Christmas, were invited for a few minutes. It warms my heart to think without SANTA CLAUS/e, we had so wonderful Christmases, and memories. My dad decorated the entire outside of the home with colored lights, and inside with hanging lanterns etc from the ceilings. Shalom.PTL

I remember wonderful Chistmasses in the heat of the Australian Summer and the radio playing SIX WHITE BOOMERS ...which was about Santa and his sleigh being pulled by six white Kangaroos on his Australian run.
