I agree. "The Holidays'" are a time for family and togetherness. It is a time to put aside family issues and enjoy each other, for the road ahead is uncertain. Life is too short for pettiness.

It got cold just in time for Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving Day should be cold so that everyone will enjoy staying inside for communication with ones family & friends.

I have two big writing jobs Ileft for the winter cold. Finished one a couple of days ago. but that wasn't as big.
It is good to look at the cold outside and know one is going to be busy all winter long.
