Freedom of speech is OK. As long as it does not stir ill feelings. Sadly it does usually.

Colleges have really turned into an echo chamber. It is a shame really. The idea is to foster debate, but colleges are severely hindering it.That is going to prevent all problems, not just those centered around Islam, from being fully addresed.

Restricting information only makes the information more desirable in most cases. Hope it's the same here.

I remember very well how the colleges of the 60s and 70s were

sites of unrest, streaking, sit-ins and even violent confrontations. The campus here was just this past week the scene of a demonstration against some racist slurs and head-butting resulting from the election. Seems to me the campus administrators are still trying to hold things together - sometimes through an abundance of caution and often in a misguided effort to control the passionate opinions and reactions among the students. Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer choice of what issue tickles yer fancy. It may calm down as blizzards and sleet take over the job of policing.

and you disagreed with me that the Jewish people would find themselves in trouble because of the Musliim thing. Bird brains cannot distinguish between the two.

Nautikos

I would be most interested to know what is happening at the university near you, as I was interested to read of this happening at a university.
