Re: Nautikos

Thank you, Naut! Yes, correct. That's a really funny comment there about the second law! Love it!

Brilliantly written! A reminder that everything is just a succession of Nows - so why change and decline? Just the second law of thermodynamics, LOL...

Re: WileyJohn

Yes, that is the message, in part. More, live each day to the fullest extent possible. But there is a second thought; which is that the human need for love, to love, on some level, continues as long as we breathe. IMHO.

Re: C_C_T

Thank you. Glad you liked it. Kind words can brighten, sometimes. I had not thought of having a case full of good poems! LOL! Couldn't hurt, but it would be too much work, even if it was achievable...

Re: Kabu

Yes, each day is precious in its own way! We learn that over time, I think.

Good one, Aba! Indeed!

Yes I guess you are telling what most feel. Even a few kind words can brighten someones day. Of course we all dream of the impossible. It would probably have just settled as the norm if one had managed to remain unchanged. Quite a good poem RP. I bet you wish you had a case-full of them.

That is my way of thinking to sweet Soul S. live today and in the moment. Don't waste time on regrets or think about tomorrow. well not too much anyway.

Reading this reminds me that life can change at the drop of a hat.

Re: Re: Dear Aba

Thank you Presta dear. It is the present we call it, because isn't it a 'gift'?

Re: Dear Aba

Thank you, and such a wonderful thought that last sentence conveys! Beautifully and poetically stated! I so agree.

Dear Presta

A very fine message, artfully done, to brighten up one's morning. And this is true... The now moment is the only one we have and also the moment you say now that moment too is gone.  You can do nothing about the past but you can ruin an absolutely good future by not acting in the present.
