Re: GoldenMean's generous comment: Amen to that; in non-European nations,

intermarraige between Muslims & non-Muslims is common. As is Catholic-Protestant, and Christian-Jewish marraiges in the West. So, Nautikos' approach is one that springs out of isolation, book-learning, & unbelief. A believer LOVES sinners, & hates the sin (including of terrorism). I had the great honor in Jesus, to meet & pray with two Africans who were Muslim, one an Imam's son, who were called to faith by Jesus Himself in visions. They are able to preach, teach, and do healing in churches across USA. How can I hate these ex-Muslims, & their unconverted families. In South Africa (Indian & "malay") slaves were taken there  bythe Dutch after 1652. They have mixed Christian-Muslim families, & a very rich culture. Many such as Dr. Abdurahman, and more recently Dr, Alan Boesak, fought segregation & aprtheid, & helped the native Africans with cooperation & organizational assets since 1893. shalom, shalom (You made my day- there is hope in humans, & while I expect Jesus' return, He would celebrate every human who loves & forgives. That's His way) amen

Keep sending messages of Jesus' love to Muslims.  if one or two listen,  it is worth it.  After all,  he is a prophet even to them,  so they should listen.  Shalom and peace,  and may God's blessings be upon you.

Thanks good Readers. Anibanejee shows his learning: perfect review of poem

as well as the challenge of telling Muslims about Jesus. See Nautikos, it is NOT so hard to give a balanced review of other people's opinions. views, writings ... do NT be a Trumpling or a Quisling for the sake of politics. Shalom, shalom. Aba

Hi there, UKUSA

Evangelising Muslims! That's a good one to my ears. But they have always a way of interpreting Jesus' lessons in their 'own' ways. The poem is so uplifting in its message, Shalom, Ukus A.

It would be nice to see more interfaith dialogue. That would help a lot, I feel.

I love that quote "You broke my heart but I love you with all the broken pieces". Felt uplifted with it and I loved the poem. In a way so forgiving.

Shalom Naut, thanx 4 reading. By 2019, U will have been on knees to Jesus,

or I will become as anti-Islam and/or anti-Muslim as you. I am trusting the Bible and Christian teachings to forgive, be peacemakers, & love our enemies (Matt 6: 1-15). shalom shalom in Yeshua ha Meshiach, in Rev. Dr. King's & Nelson Mandela's tradition of forgiving whites/Europeans or slavery & other atrocities. Heal brother!

It's pretty safe evangelizing Muslims here in the streets of Blogitville, though about as effective as my preaching against Islam. But don't ever try that at your friendly neighborhood mosque...
