Like you, Naut, I hate violence, but also realise that sometimes one must fight fire with fire. Any religion that preaches hurt and pain or forced acceptance, for whatever reason, is intolerable in my eyes. And yes - moderate Muslims must step up and denounce the practice used by those who preach their 'book', and then maybe we'll see some successful change.

I think the one thing every person can understand from your post is that you don't condone violence of any kind, and that you regret the suffering of innocent Muslims, as well as all other innocents. Okay, that's two things... I'm no Math Major. LOL!

Pat, I did not say or mean to imply that hate is restricted to one religous group - I'm sure it is found in all of them to some degree, for all kinds of reasons. What I am saying is that Islam is the only religion in which hate is an integral part of devine revelation! There is simply nothing comparable in the New Testament! That makes for a HUGE difference, and has been for 1400 years...Devout Muslims who become Allah's soldiers believe they are doing God's work! I don't think the disgusting David Duke believes that, but if he does he certainly doesn't have scripture to back him up...

In beautiful Canada's neighbor to the south, there are even members of the KKK who are running for legislative seats - Louisiana I think - and the candidate is none other than the aryan supremecist David Duke. Excuse me, but this makes me sick to my stomach....

Actually I don't think that Blogit is as unaccessible as it used to be. Wiley found some of his AA writings on an AA site where someone had obviously been able to put them. Then there was that real sneak creep who called himself Wiley Drunk. I have also found some of my blogs here and there too. Mainly advertising Tom ugly or some such. You could be a target you know.
