Several wise presidents including Teddy Roosevelt went to a lot of
trouble to protect these lands from developers and other predators, and it's my humble opinion that anyone who even thinks of defacing, changing, developing, encroaching, disturbing, messing with or screwing up any of these natural treaures ought to have hot needles inserted under their fingernails...

I always dreamed of retiring in a log cabin in the mountains. But, I have found that I can fill my eyes and my soul with wonderful videos of such (PBS and National Geographic) without the physical hardships one would have to endure living year round in such a place.
