Excellent post. That is some very rational words from this man. He has said a lot coming from the Muslim community I believe. Here I believe he would be in danger. More power to him. Thank you for sharing it.

He makes a great point. While there was certainly disagreement in how to handle the Cold War, the vast majority agreed it needed to be won. The question is how we can get this unity when it comes to Islam. With social media, 24 hour news and phone addiction in general, it is a lot tricker than forty, fifty years ago.

Pakistanis will deny what Canadian Muslim Immigrant says and writes. Punjab is divided right in the middle between Pakistan and India, much as Kashmir is, although a third part has been stolen by China, the bully of Asia!
My point is that this Punjabi Canadian has a poet's heart, as many Punjabi-speakers and Banglas also share. They can speak truth to power ... He knows what Islam did to Hindu civilzation, and yes, Pakistan is a creation of a misguided Muslim elite, that was Western in dress, sexual appetites, and its founder Mohammad Jinnah was not even married to a Muslim, indulging in non-Kosher (non-Halal) food.
It was all to destroy the political, military, and moral power of India after the Second World War, Hitler, and Gandhi's better example. Islam was, then ...and now? ... jealous of Gandhi's nonviolent philosophy and ethics. Shalom shalom
