Thanks so much and yes it was kind of calm here. Only today the rain was a little heavy - bothered with the washing though

Nature does her own thing and humans are not bigger than the elements. If one is told to take one's pets and go then that is what one should do. Nature just doean't take notice of what is in her way.

I imagine that guilt that of which is felt is extremely intense.

So very potent today and always when disaster looms. I hope it was still calm as you wrote this. Well written Shobana.

Fantastic poem.  Tonight I am thinking of loved ones who live in Pompano Beach, and in the Orlando area, and Daytona area, waiting for Matthew, wondering how fierce it might be.

Re: hwllo there Shobs

Hi Aba, how are you? So good to hear from you because you rarely appear when I am writing. How is your teaching coming along?

A tale of lament. Yes, what were they thinking, one may ask... Now so many suffer. And it breaks one's heart. Very nice and very apt poem.

hwllo there Shobs

A reminder to man that his destruction of Nature comes Bach with added force. But for all this, Nature is never spent
