Well done! In contemplating that leaf you have touched upon the cycle of life, from birth to decay...

Hello Shobs

Beauty is shortlived yet so long as it lasts pleasures all. I was reminded of Hopkins' Spring and Fall  - 'Margaret, are you grieving/ Over golden grove unleaving/ Leaves, like the things of man/ you with your fresh thoughts care for . . .

Unfortunately that's the way life is, but beauty of the beholder - may it not fade away.

A poem of beauty, this is. And when we can look at something beyond our eyes, there is beauty to be found in all.

It is good to celebrate even the fallen leaf, as you do

great thinking sweet friend. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Do we do the same? throw awat those that are flawed in our eyes.

This is like a beautiful proverb Shobana, I felt that you actually did this, very nicely thought out.

If it could talk, the leaf could tell us a bunch of stories.
