Sweden's Refug-IANITY: Anybody- Clinton & Trump -R Christian if claimed but

There is something that is rather like LIBERAL social engineering about the Pentecostal/Church of Sweden's approach. Jesus gave us EVERYTHING free, but we are expected to imitate His "crucifixion to Self" as we preach the Kingdom. I have always advocated for the poor, the marginalized, the exploited worker and women ... but that is NOT the same as Christianity. Only a part of it. Jesus also said, He respected elders, and followed the Ten Commandments, yet in Mark 3:35, after he refused to receive a visit from His Mom and siblings, Jesus added: "Whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother." He also was seemingly trapped by the Pharisees in paying taxes (Mt 17): Render to Caesar what belongs to Caesar/Governments, and to God what belongs to God. To balance these Christian expectations presents wiggle room to all sorts of Christians. Some say an abortionist cannot be a Christian; others say sodomy is the worst sin; others point to Mark 3:29 as the only unpardonable sin. Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton, and both party-members and independents think thay are either good, or Christian, or patriotic, too! You gave me food for thought. Thanks much. Being a Christian is a personal relationship between God and the one who professes it to my belief. The Church from my perspective has always been embroiled with politics from Jesus time and hence many interpretations have been made over time and now it also has a refugee status linked to it which I sort of agree because Jesus was never accepted in his birthplace so he had to move from place to place. But what certain sectors in Sweden profess of Christianity and Jesus and relate it to the current migration of refugees is something new to me. So there you go another interpretation of Christianity and Jesus!

Interesting and sad

Naut,  thanks for the report on the deteriorating Christianity of Sweden.  It is just another nail in the coffin of Western civilization,  which seems intent upon commiting cultural suicide.

There are some crazy things going on in Sweden to say the least. Thanks for bringing them to light. When it comes to Western Multiculturalism, not much has been written about them.

The word "Christian" now has such a wide range of meanings depending on who says it.  It is not like the days long ago in that place called Antioch where the Believers in Jesus Christ were first called Christian.

My friend this has nothing to do with Christianity, it is liberal politics, liberal beyond the pale. There are a lot of groups who call themselves who do no follow the Bible. To me this is very sad. One may put Christ in the label they use but without Christ Jesus there is no value in the works.
