It was a side trip actually.  I was meeting my Son & Phil in Boulder for his birthday and this was a side trip a little west from where I was staying in Denver.  Couldn't help but start thinking about trips with his dad.

So, when you went back, you went with yourself... perhaps renewing an acquaintance that had been set back some by having another partner to focus on. It seems both happy and sad.

It's a lovely little bridge and stream, and lucky that you had the

experience to think back on even when the rest of it didn't work out as planned. Nostalgia sometimes bites.
